The Lemann Foundation Board of Directors were very interested in learning how start ups in the region are scaling up their solutions and increasing the impact on a country level.

With Brazil being a very large country, it was very important for The Lemann Foundation to meet start-ups that have a potential of scale for K-12 and are already structured in terms of public sector relationship, deployment in schools, or high-level business models/results. We are happy to say that Playware is most certainly one of those companies, and we are more than ready to explore Brazil with 3DHive!

Some information about The Lemann Foundation:

Created in 2002 by the entrepreneur Jorge Paulo Lemann, the organization has grown significantly in the last three years, reaching more than 5 million learners in 2014-2015. In partnership with companies and organizations such as Google/Youtube Edu, Khan Academy, Code.org, MIT Media Lab, and the best universities in the world (Stanford, Harvard, Oxford, Yale), the Lemann Foundation is a reference in Education in Brazil and has been a hub for international partnerships and collaboration among different stakeholders.
